What is Depression?
According to the World Health Organization, Depression is the most common illness worldwide and the leading causes of disability. Depression seems to be more common among women than men. If anybody asks me what is the most common epidemics in terms of dissatisfaction and observation then my responsible answer is depression. We observe it in office, enterprises, and streets where people are suffering from this common disease. We can call it a mood disorders disease because in this disease patients is mentally worried and seeing the future condition. While in fact there is no other problem in the physical conditions which causes disorder in the human nervous system.
Causes Of Depression
The race for today’s luxury life has caused humans to suffer problems. Work load which brings pressure on mind and he is suffering from nervous stress. In medical terminology, this called depression. There are several ideas about what causes depression. It can vary a lot between different people and for some people a combination of different factors may cause depression. Depression is not a new problem people are suffering from this since a long but in the present era, this disease has increased too much. Due to depression, difficulties, problems, and anxiety are increasing. For example daily work like children’s education, preparing him for school and her self for office, education costs, paying bills, standing in a long queue outside the bank every month, catching a bus to reach office at the time. These are the common issues that make people suffering from irritable situation, depression and high blood pressure. In my opinion, if the psychological examination is done then more than 60% population is suffering from a mental and psychological disorder.
How To Deal With Depression
Usually, depression is treated with sleeping pills which is absolutely not appropriate. As these pills give temporary comfort and the patient becomes addicted. Apart from this, the harmful chemicals in sleeping pills paralyzed nerves system.
Sleeping Pills Side Effect
Although certain sleeping tablets can cause major side effects as listed below

- Headedness
- Gastrointestinal problems
- Prolonged drowsiness
- Daytime memory and performance problem
- Difficulty with coordination
Many other treatment options are available for depression, In ancient time people used to treat depression with the Quraan, Worship, and Sunnah or long drive with friends and by going religious places and performing meditation.
According to modern research and knowledge when the brain releases organic chemical named Norepinepherine in less quantity than usually then depression is happening. Norepinephrine is a chemical released from the sympathetic nervous system in response to stress. In order to make our body work as efficiently as possible, norepinephrine causes several changes in our body function.
How To Deal With Depression
An increase in the amount of oxygen going to our brain helps us think clear and faster
An increase in our heart rate, this pumps more blood around the body helping our muscles work faster and more efficiently
An increase in breathing rate, when we breathe faster we are supplying more oxygen to the body and brain, this helps our entire body work better.
Avoid difficult issues when in frustration and worrying
Take a long walk and discuss things daily with your best friends
Stay away from worries,
Contribute stress to educated family members and friends
Talk to someone you trust, try mindfulness
Spend time in nature try to get good sleep
Think about your diet, foods to avoid if you have anxiety or depression
